For owner-operated service businesses

Websites for working businesses.

Clear websites, dependable care, and a real person behind both. Your domain, business content, assets, and accounts stay yours.

Built for the real problem

Your website should make the business easier to trust—not add another thing to chase.

A provider disappears. A domain gets stuck in someone else’s account. Small changes never happen. The website slowly stops reflecting the quality of the work.

Groundcover Works gives service-business owners one accountable person for the website and a care system designed to keep it useful after launch.

How it works

A clear path from uncertainty to a site with someone behind it.

1

Discover

We talk through the business, customers, current site, content, and constraints.

2

Plan

I turn that into a clear scope, page structure, responsibilities, and milestones.

3

Build

We shape the content and design, then test the finished site across real devices and needs.

4

Support

After launch, I keep watch, handle routine changes, and show you what was done.

Common questions

Useful answers before we talk.

What does a website cost?

Each project is scoped around the business, content, and features involved. Current planning starts custom website builds around $2,000, but final public pricing is still being validated. You will get a clear proposal before work begins.

Do I own my website?

You own your domain, accounts, original content, uploaded assets, and analytics data. Groundcover Works retains its framework and interconnected platform. Your agreement defines a practical portable sendoff and perpetual use of the delivered output after agreed fees are paid.

What happens after launch?

Care is the operating layer: hosting, monitoring, backups, maintenance, bounded routine updates, direct support, and a reviewed report. The complete reporting and monitoring system is being proven before Care is publicly launched.

Will I be able to update the site?

Routine text, photo, hour, and similar changes are handled through concierge care. A self-service editor is not part of the standard Groundcover Works offer.
